Marcya Bove focuses primarily on guiding families through
life changing events. Since joining Harpeth Law Group
in 2008, Marcya has primarily focused her practice in the
areas of Family and Domestic Law, Probate Law,
Contract Review and General Civil Litigation. More
specifically, Marcya can assist you in divorce actions,
child custody and support matters both during and after
a divorce is final, prenuptial agreements, probate of the
estate of someone with or without a will document, and
any other areas of general litigation.
While Marcya understands that filing a lawsuit of any
kind can be difficult for all involved, she works with
her clients to make the process as smooth as possible and
makes sure her clients are always informed and a partner
in this process. Harpeth Law Group strives
to provide a family friendly office where clients can feel
comfortable bringing their children with them to appointments. Marcya
also makes sure she has a flexible appointment schedule
to accommodate the busy lives of her clients.
Marcya is currently an active member in the Williamson
County Bar Association and is licensed to practice law
in the State of Tennessee. She is a Nashville School
of Law graduate, earning her degree in May 2007 and passing
the Tennessee Bar in October 2007. Marcya also spends
much of her free time being active in the community where
she serves as a volunteer at Kenrose Elementary and her
church as well as working on projects such as serving as
a Trainer for the Kids Country Music Marathon and working
on local Habitat for Humanity builds. She and her
husband Chris have lived in Franklin for seven years and
have two children.
Prior to Law School, Marcya was a recruiter for technical
and business professionals after she was honorably discharged
from the United States Army as a Military Intelligence
Officer. She and her husband served together in Anchorage,
Alaska before relocating to the Franklin area.
Marcya received her Bachelors of Arts in Government from
Western Kentucky University where she received Distinguished
Military Graduate honors and her Master of Business Organizational
Management from the University of Laverne in California.
